Themes of Jean Daniel Cadinot Part II Options

Contrary to the "impression" that may be given by some of the recent eulogies for Jean Daniel Cadinot, not all of Cadinot's films were plot heavy. SOME of Cadinot's films are plot thin and they were just heavy on the sex. Of course, it must be kept in mind that all of Cadinot's films were done in French. So, it is possible that there was some "narration" accompanying some of Cadinot's films that provided some kind of theme that tied all of the sex scenes together.

There is one theme that Cazzo has in common with Jean Daniel Cadinot more so than any other European gay adult producer that I've run into. Both Cazzo and Jean Daniel Cadinot were heavy into the forced sex theme.

There are a whole lot of things in Cazzo Films that I just "over look" because they don't appeal to me. I don't really know if the recurring "forced sex" in Cazzo Films is "A German Thing" or if Cazzo was "inspired by" Jean Daniel Cadinot's films. But, both Cazzo and Jean Daniel Cadinot returned to forced sex again and again in their productions.

A poster on a messageboard claimed that a scene in an early BelAmi video Souvenirs that has guys in a large room full of bunk beds was a "shot-by-shot" re-creation of a scene from one of Jean Daniel Cadinot's films (Les Minutes Sauvages). However, there is one major difference between the BelAmi bunk bed scene and the Cadinot bunk bed scene.

In the BelAmi Bunk Bed scene in Souvenirs, the guys are all more or less playing around and the scene is lighthearted. In the Jean Daniel Cadinot bunk bed scene in "Les Minutes Sauvages", a young kid has been thrown into a juvenile detention facility and sex is forced on him by older boys in the facility.


Minets Sauvages (Les). Eight young wild cats with violent sexual needs set up their own rule of law. The clan boss home in without pity on the new arrival and submits him to his rule. The dormitory, the boiler room, the workshop are all settings for punishments meted out to this easy prey. Jealousies, tensions and desires all explode with the arrival of a young lone-wolf. With an accomplice, he takes the young victim into his protection and puts an end to the reign of terror. Cadinot.fr

There is another Jean Daniel Cadinot film that has a hitch hiker getting picked up and "sexually exploited". It looks like the Hitch Hiker represents a young European Guy and the guys who pick his up are supposed to be Wealthy Arabs. The film ends with the "exploiters" driving the hitch hiker out to the end of town and throwing him out onto the side of the road.

There is a Jean Daniel Cadinot film that has a young blond European guy "seemingly" being sexually exploited by Africans when he is stranded near some desert area in North Africa. In one scene in the film, one African beats up another African who had sex with the European Kid. It is not until the end of the film that it is "suggested" that the young European guy was gay and that he was "into" the kind of sex that we thought was being forced on him.

There is an interesting Jean Daniel Cadinot film that starts with a guy confessing to a priest. Scenes of the guy confessing to the priest are inter-cut with the gay sex scenes that take place in the film. Well, it seems that the man confessing tried to commit suicide when his wife/girlfriend left him. The man was then taken to a hospital or mental facility and gay sex was forced on him by the workers in the facility (most of whom seem to be African). Cazzo has a video titled Sex Klinik which seems to explore the "forced sex" in a hospital theme.

Clair Production's version of sex in a hospital is a video that had the US title "Making the Rounds". Clair's video is extremely tame compared to the way Cazzo and Cadinot presented the theme.
