Notice anything odd about the guy at the bottom right of the Dolce & Gabbana Advertising above? I mean, other than him being dead? I can't tell how many times I looked at the above photo without it registering on me that it, more or less, sorta kinda recreates a scene in Total Eclipse starring Leonardo DiCaprio. As I recall, Leonardo, as the poet Arthur Rimbaud, relates how he became fascinated by a handsome soldier sitting in a field and then he came to realize that the soldier was actually dead. I altered the photo to remove a distracting vagina in the shot. There are other photos in this advertising campaign by Dolce & Gabbana in which the guy is more obviously DEAD. Gay Porn and Death, Dolce & Gabbana's advertising is begining to look like a Cazzo Adult Video. Dolce & Gabbana B/J Photo? There is a photo circulating around some blogs that people are claiming is a Dolce & Gabbana ad, however we can't find that photo on Dolce & Gabbana's website. The B/J Photo appears to be from the D&G Spring 2006 session of photos that had the "Nip/Tuck-Like Photo" (take note of the hay and the wooden chair). The B/J Photo is posted at Adrants. -------------------- Peter Everhard

Apparently, showing models with bullet holes in their heads upset a couple of people in the UK.
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK has banned Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter '06 ads quoting "glorification of crime and knife-violence" http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2007...t-a-scandal.php -------------------- |
